Jeff Camarda is Chairman of the Camarda Wealth Advisory Group. Founded in 1993, Camarda Wealth advises successful families and manages their investment portfolios. It is a fee-only registered investment firm that focuses on total wealth care, integrating investments, asset protection, estate and retirement planning, tax control, and other critical components that target optimal wealth for its clients. Based in metro Jacksonville, Fla., the firm serves clients across the country, and is A+ rated by the Better Business Bureau. It was named a “5-Star Advisor” by Paladin Registry, a “Premier Advisor” by the National Association of Board Certified Advisory Practices, a “Top Wealth Manager” by Bloomberg’s Wealth Manager Magazine, and a “Top Investment Manager” by Financial Advisor Magazine. The firm’s AIMS™ investment process was also noted as a “Top Innovation” by Florida Times-Union.
Dr. Camarda is also a principal in TaxMaster, which provides advanced, non-investment wealth management advice on a fee-only basis, and he is involved as a principal in several other enterprises as well. He has authored numerous articles, financial reports, whitepapers and guides. His advice has been featured in the Wall Street Journal for years, and he is quoted as a financial expert in other national press outlets. He was named one of WORTH Magazine’s top 250 advisors in the U.S., and was repeatedly named by Barron’s as “one of the best financial advisors in America.” Barron’s refers to advisors like Jeff Camarda as “the best people in the business” and “truly great financial advisors.” Ranked in the top one percent, these advisors set “the highest standards of their profession.” (Barron’s, July 18, 2016)
Jeff Camarda earned his Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) and his Ph.D. in Financial and Retirement Planning from The American College of Financial Services. He describes the graduate programs “like Jedi training for financial advisors.” “Having earned the ChFC® and CLU® designations back in the nineties, I feel very strongly that The College’s graduate programs, and especially the Ph.D. program, really can help propel advisors to very high levels of advisory value, to not only better serve clients with complex needs, but strongly differentiate themselves in the increasingly homogenized advisory market.” A paper based on an early version of Dr. Camarda’s dissertation won a “Best Analytic Paper” award at the Academy of Financial Services for 2016. He continues to conduct research with partners from universities in Florida and California. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) certification, and the E.A. tax credential.
