Adelia Chung is a Chartered Life Underwriter and a Chartered Financial Consultant with 30+ years of experience in the insurance and investment industry. She is a graduate of Punahou High School and has a BA in Political Science from UCLA. She has held leadership roles in the industry and community. Adelia is an international speaker who talks to audiences about the life-changing impact financial services solutions can make in a person’s life.
Adelia has been a Court of the Table of the Million Dollar Round Table since 1986. She was MDRT Top of the Table 1984-1985, 1999-2001, 2003-2009. Adelia was the president of the Million Dollar Round Table Foundation in 1999 and, in 2005, was president of Million Dollar Round Table. Adelia has been a life member since 1993, selling at least $1 million of life insurance for 10 years in a row.
Adelia is involved with several financial service industry organizations. She has been a member of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU) for 27 years, the National and Hawaiian Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) for 32 years, and the Society of Financial Service Professionals for 31 years.
In 1997, Adelia and her husband, Stephen, established the Alana Dung Research Foundation, named after their daughter who died of leukemia at age 3. Adelia is the President of the Alana Dung Research Foundation, and is Board President of the Friends of Cancer Research Center in Hawaii. She is also a Founders Council Member at Punahou School.
