Barry Finkelstein is a financial advisor with Eagle Strategies LLC and an insurance agent for New York Life. He specializes in helping a diverse clientele to prepare for and navigate life's milestones and transitions. His goal is to provide individuals and families with the appropriate products and services to help them grow, protect and conserve their assets through all stages in life. He works with business owners and professionals in a wide range of fields and industries who seek assistance with personal financial and estate planning, succession planning, executive benefits, and buy-sell planning.

In 2010, Mr. Finkelstein transitioned to his current professional role serving the Greater Chicago area after over 31 years as a financial advisor with Northwestern Mutual Life. He also earned a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature at The University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has an ongoing interest in literature, philosophy and religion. In fact, he attributes his insights into the human condition and his deep compassion for his clients and their concerns not only to his extensive experience in the profession, but also to his own immersion in advanced studies.

Mr. Finkelstein’s sense of responsibility goes beyond his clients and extends to the community where his involvement includes the Chicago Estate Planning Council, the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago, the Chicago Community Trust, and the Greater North Shore Estate and Financial Planning Council. In these efforts, he collaborates and educates to help community organizations achieve the positive outcomes they desire.

Considering himself to be a lifelong learner, Mr. Finkelstein continually seeks professional knowledge to better serve his clients' needs. In addition to the strong, lasting relationships he has built with his clients, Mr. Finkelstein's wide array of professional designations demonstrates his dedication to those clients. He studied with The American College of Financial Services where he earned a Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) and the following designations: Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®), Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Registered Employee Benefits Consultant® (REBC®), Registered Health Underwriter® (RHU®), Chartered Advisor for Senior Living® (CASL®), Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) and Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®). He also holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.
