Cynthia Diccianni is the founder and owner of Diccianni Financial Group, Inc., in Norristown, Pa., providing comprehensive financial, estate and tax planning advisory services that create a customized financial plan to fit each client’s individual needs and goals. As the Investment Advisory Representative of her firm, and a Registered Representative with Leigh Baldwin & Company of Cazenovia, NY, Cindy assists her clients with all aspects of financial planning. She coordinates with attorneys, accountants, bankers and other financial services professionals to address her clients’ financial needs.
She began her career in financial planning with Nationwide/Provident Mutual. She left the large firm environment to pursue her own business vision, and launched an independent financial planning firm in 2007. There, she provides the expertise and knowledge to create a financial safety net and enhance her clients’ outcomes in dealing with changing life events.
Cindy also spent 25 years as a Registered Operating Room Nurse. She began studying finance with a group of nurses as part of an investment club. She realized that she could provide the services that she sought by applying the same holistic approach to caring for her clients’ financial health as she did for her patients’ physical health. She is passionate about helping others gain financial security, and frequently addresses community groups on the topic. Her extensive medical background also enables her to work with underwriters to develop customized life, long-term care, and disability policies tailored to the needs of her clients.
Cindy conducts seminars on financial issues at local schools and professional organizations. She is a contributing writer for Advance for Nurses, Nurse Plus, Nurse Zone, Medhunters, Personal Excellence, and American Nurse Today. Cindy is the current vice president of the Montgomery County Estate Planning Council. She is also a member of the Montgomery County Foundation Board of Directors and of the Montgomery County Community College Foundation Board of Directors, where she serves on the host committee of Leading Women, a popular annual symposium and golf outing that highlights women’s leadership and raises funds for women’s programs and scholarships.
A graduate of Montgomery County College, Cindy was inducted into that school’s Alumni Hall of Fame in 2012. She also graduated from the National School of Health Technology and Hahnemann University. Cindy earned the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation from The American College of Financial Services, and holds the Certificate for Long-Term Care (CLTC®). She is also an Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®), a credential awarded by the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils.
Cindy has been married for 32 years and has one son, Christopher, who is 26 years old.
