Angelia Z. Shay, who is a Financial Adviser with Eagle Strategies LLC, a Registered Investment Adviser, offers more than 25 years of experience in the financial planning industry. She is Founder and President of THE PATH Financial Strategies, providing holistic financial planning for pre-retirees, retirees, and business owners. As a Christian, Angie’s philosophy for life and business is “Invest in You…Spiritually, Financially, and Physically!” She enjoys a rewarding career helping clients develop sound financial planning and solutions through a shared foundation of integrity and trust.

Angie’s designations include Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), and Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF). She is a Registered Representative of and offers securities through NYLIFE Securities LLC, member FINRA/SIPC, a Licensed Insurance Agency, and is an Agent with New York Life Insurance Company.Twice, Angie was awarded Agent of the Year by New York Life, Richmond’s General Office – a significant achievement as the first woman in the Richmond General Office so honored. Nineteen times, Angie has qualified for New York Life Chairman's Council, President’s Council or Executive Council.

This past year has been a blessed year for Angie as she: qualified for President’s Council; honored as “Senior NYLIC;” and inducted into New York Life’s “Hall of Fame.” All this was made possible because of her dedication and service to the industry.

Committed to leadership, she served as Women in Insurance and Financial Services’ national President from 2012–2014.

Angie is a popular speaker on national and regional circuits. She is one of the women featured in the book Magnificent Masters in Financial Services: Amazing Women - Sensational Stories, and was a contributing writer along with Sheila Eby in the book, The New Face of Forty: Life in Transition. Angie also was featured in Ronnie Sellers’ Forty Things to Do When You Turn Forty. Angie is a monthly contributor to the “Richmond Family Magazine” financial series. She also has appeared on “Virginia This Morning,” in LifeHeathPro and the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
