Todd Healy is a founder and principal of Texas Financial Partners, an independent insurance brokerage and consulting firm with offices in Dallas and San Antonio, Texas. Having served in the profession since 1977, he is a leading wealth counselor coordinating the business and estate planning process for high net worth clients. He specializes in assisting individuals, family groups, and public and closely held business owners with their insurance and estate planning, business succession planning, executive benefits, and charitable giving strategies. Todd also is the creator of The Values Perpetuator Process© that enables individuals to identify and pass on to future generations those personal financial values that have been most important to them.

Prior to his current leadership role with Texas Financial Partners, Todd served for over 12 years as a principal at Dallas-based IPS Advisors, Inc., where he helped individuals and families with wealth management and legacy planning. Todd is also a co-founder of PartnersFinancial, an elite and highly selective membership organization that links core carriers and independent financial advisors through its national network, providing an independent distribution of insurance, benefits and wealth management services. Created in 1987, its membership has grown to include over 150 life insurance and diversified firms from across the country.

Todd is a member of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU), having served on its board and as chair of its Charitable Planning Committee. He is also a member of the Dallas Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and former national board member, and a member of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning. He is a former member of the advisory councils of Voya, Pacific Life, and John Hancock. Todd also served as president of the Corpus Christi Estate Planning Council (1992-93) and as a member of the President’s Cabinet (2010-11) of the Dallas Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). He is also a member of the Southern Methodist University Planned Giving Council.

Todd has contributed to the Journal of Financial Service Professionals and to Family Business magazine. He also was the “Advanced Planning Strategies” columnist and contributing editor of Commerce Clearing House’s Journal of Practical Estate Planning. In recognition of his outstanding leadership in the profession, Todd was the 2007 recipient of the Beverly L. Brooks Leadership Award from the Society of FSP. He also received the Golden Key Society Role Model award from The American College of Financial Services.

In addition to Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) certification, Todd earned Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®), Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) designations from The American College of Financial Services. He also earned Bachelor of Arts and Master of Social Work degrees from the University of California at Berkeley.
