Carlos Contreras is a proud recipient of the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation. He is a Financial Advisor and Investment Adviser Representative with an independent fee-based SEC registered investment advisor - Financial Management Services of America “FMSA”. He has served the financial management needs of South Florida since 1990, understanding and responding to the unique circumstances of the international high net worth client base, which ranges from corporate executives to physicians, entrepreneurs and retirees.
As a 12 year United States Army Reserve veteran, he has developed both leadership & team building skills that enables him to collaborate with fellow professionals in meeting the needs of a client's entire financial picture. In his free time he does pro-bono financial planning for military veterans and families in the lesser served community.
As an alumni and a former scholarship recipient from The American College’s PennMutual Center for Veterans Affairs (PMCVA), he is now a PMCVA ambassador in South Florida with a commitment to promote financial planning scholarships to active duty, military veterans, and their spouses.
In addition, his further determination to serve others led him to become a Committeeman in his district for his political party.
