Share Your Knowledge: Teach an Online CLU®, ChFC® or CLU® class at The American College!

If you have a bachelor's degree, one or more of our major designations, and are interested in being considered as an instructor for one of The American College's online courses, we want to hear from you!  A master's degree and some teaching experience are definite pluses. If you would like to teach one of our online CFP® certification courses, having your CFP® certification is mandatory.

The first step is to submit a resume. Include your academic and professional achievements, as well as a statement as to which three courses you consider yourself most qualified to teach, to Kathy Erb, Associate Vice President of Marketing.  Submit this material via email or hard copy mail to:

Kathy Erb, AVP, Marketing
The American College
270 S. Bryn Mawr Avenue
Bryn Mawr, PA 19010-2196

The availability of courses to teach is dependent on both student demand and the number of people signing up. Note that some of our online instructors may also be approached to teach in our Intensive Review Programs (IRPs), whereby an instructor goes to a company location for three days and teaches an entire course directly to a class. All instructors are compensated for both online and IRP instruction. Please be patient as we review the submissions we receive, and thank you for being open to sharing your knowledge with other professionals!

Sincerely,

Walt Woerheide
